Terms and conditions

1. Upon receipt of the laundry, the customer will receive a receipt indicating the products received, the quantity, the delivery time and the price per product.

2. In the event that a product brought in by the customer for service is of exceptional value/old, the laundry must be notified at the time of receipt and a note signed by the customer will be made on the receipt.

3. Unit-priced laundry is always invoiced at the laundry. Items of laundry will be accepted in batches and the customer is requested to enclose a laundry list with the laundry. If the laundry list differs when checked by the laundry, the calculation made by the laundry is binding.

4. The laundry will follow the fixed care instructions provided by the manufacturer. If the fixed care instructions are unclear, incorrect or missing, the laundry will choose the washing method specific to the product/material and the treatment will be at the customer’s risk.

5. If the washing instructions are incomplete or if the laundry suspects that the removal of stains on the product may cause damage to the material, the risk factors will be discussed with the customer at the reception stage. If, despite the risks, the customer wishes to have the product washed, the receipt will be accompanied by a written reservation regarding the above-mentioned matters, for which the laundry is not responsible.

6. The best possible materials and methods are used for washing, taking into account the material of the product. Nevertheless, the complete removal of stains cannot be guaranteed.

7. The laundry undertakes to respect the delivery time indicated on the receipt. In the event of a delay, the laundry will immediately inform the customer of the discrepancy. If the laundry uses subcontractors, the laundry will also be responsible for any delays caused by them. The laundry undertakes to reimburse the customer for any costs incurred as a result of an unreasonable delay. If the delay is due to force majeure or any other event beyond the control or foreseeable control of the laundry or its subcontractors at the time of acceptance, the laundry shall not be liable for compensation.

8. The laundry shall be liable for any washing and finishing defects in its operations and for any loss of products in the laundry. In the event of a fault on the part of the laundry, the laundry shall replace the damaged/lost product. In the case of compensation, the laundry shall follow a table of present value calculation criteria, which is used to calculate the replacement value of the product brought to the laundry, according to its age and purchase price. The net present value table used is approved by the Consumer Ombudsman and is also available for inspection in the laundrette, where appropriate.

9. If the laundry replaces the product for its full current value, the laundry will redeem the product. If the customer wants to keep the product, the partial reimbursement is 40% of the present value.

10. The laundry is obliged to store the washed products free of charge for one (1) month from the date of completion of the product indicated on the receipt. The laundry will charge 20% of the laundry fee as storage costs for any period exceeding this period. If the customer has not collected the products within one (1) year of the date of completion indicated on the receipt, the laundry will dispose of the products for any purpose it deems appropriate. The laundry is obliged to make a further attempt to contact the customer before taking any action.

11. Any feedback on the service and any interference/exchanges must be made immediately and before the products are put into service. Complaints must be made either immediately on collection of the product or within 14 days of collection.

12. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to resolve the situation by mutual negotiation. In the event of a major difference of opinion between the laundry and the customer, the matter will be settled in the first instance by the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi). Before taking the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer should contact the Consumer Advisory Service of the Registrar’s Office.

13. You can easily pay by invoice.
You can either pay by mobile payment or directly in your online bank by online payment.
